Master storyteller Shiraz Saini had a wonderful interactive storytelling session with children today, Sunday 22nd December at the Library. As we close in towards the end of the year, the theme was stories about Christmas, the joy of giving, sharing, gratitude and family values. Four stories were narrated ..The Gifts of the Magi, The Wooden Shoes, The Fir Tree and The Little Match Girl. The Bible story of how Lord Jesus was born was also shared. We sang two Carols..Silent Night and Rudolph the red Nose Reindeer to add in some extra cheer. The session concluded with a vocabulary recap and art expression activity.
