Day two of English language Pot Pourri workshop with master storyteller and English educator was a gamut of interesting activities. We recited a funny poem by Kenn Nesbitt called "I have noodles in my nostrils." The 5-6 yr olds played an opposites game along with worksheets. We also discussed continents of the world.. smallest and largest. The 7-9 year olds were taught about different Idioms. They also did a short picture composition based on a railway station. Storytime included a special focus on the festival of Eid ...a lovely story called Ismat's Eid was narrated. We ended the workshop with two funny poems...Hopaloo kangaroo and My Name is..which included a dramatisation activity.
