Global Day of Action of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030 Agenda
Global Day of Action of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030 Agenda (UNSDGs)was celebrated by T.S. Central State Library today. On 25th September 2015 the United Nations adopted the 17 Goals.
On this occasion an outreach programme was held at the Juvenile Home, Chandigarh. A Theme based Storytelling and Reading Awareness Programme was conducted for the inmates. They were also sensitised about the UNSDGs and they participated in a discussion on how to achieve those goals. An Art activity was also conducted which is very useful for mind relaxation.
In the Library premises, the staff also sensitised the Members about the UNSDGs.
The Library will continue to sensitise the community about these goals and work to achieve them. The Library supports UNSDGs !
