On the occasion of Children’s Day, T.S. Central State Library, Sector 17, Chandigarh organised an outreach programme at Govt Senior Secondary School, Sector 27, Chandigarh on 14th November, 2014. Various activities including Book mark making competition, Quiz on Chacha Nehru and Puzzles. Prizesand refreshments were also given to the children. A special session was conducted to inculcate the habit of reading among them. The importance of reading and going to libraries was explained. Children actively participated. This programme was organised and conducted by Mrs Neeza Singh, Librarian.
