The library since August 14, 2012 has extended opening hours. The library remains open all seven days. Monday through Friday 10;00 am to 7:30 pm. and Saturday - Sunday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm.The library will remain closed on Gazetted Holidays.Wish you happy readings.
Sh Upkar Singh, DPI ( S ) Chandigarh Administration inaugurated the Physically Challenged Corner in the library. The corner has been established with the financial help of RRRLF, Kolkatta. The Corner has been equipped with the assisted technology to read. The gadgets included, JAWS software, Read it Wand, Daisy Players, Braille Display,and supernova software. The corner also has braille and talking books. The students of the Institute of blinds presented a cultural program on the occasion.

M.Sc ( Chemistry ) students and teachers of the PGGC, Sector 11, Chandigarh having orientation program to know the resources avaialble in the library. They were briefed about the resorces the library has in print and electronic forms. There were given internet searching skill to find out the material to support their study.
